  1. Deploy Azure VPN Client to users PC. Add the users PC into the Intune group "Intune_AzureVPN".
  2. Run a sync on Intune and on the PC until the app appears. This may take some time.
  3. Once the app appears, pin it to the taskbar.
  4. Download the Azure VPN config and move to users documents folder.
  5. Import the Azure VPN config into Azure VPN client and connect. It will use Entra ID and then connect.

  6. Download and extract the P6 EPPM Installer
  7. Run the Installer as admin "P6ProfessionalSetup".
  8. Click "Typical" and then "Ok".
  9. Click "Install" and it begin the installation process.
  10. Now click "Run Database Configuration". Ensure you are connected to the Azure VPN at this stage.
  11. Click "Add".
  12. Change "Driver Type" to "Microsoft SQL Server"
  13. Fill in the Database Alias, Connection String and then click "Next".
    Database Alias: P6 EPPM
    Connection String: 10.0.0.4/pmdb1
  14. Then enter the Public Login Info and click "Save".

  15. Then click "Test" and it should be "Successful".
  16. Add a shortcut to "P6 Professional 23 (x64) to the desktop and open the program.

  17.  Click "Advanced" and ensure the it is pulling the newly created Database you have just made. Then login as normal.


  18. It will then start loading and pulling the Database.
